In 1999 he toured Guatemala with Tango x 2; going to Japan with Forever Tango. In the same year, in Theater Opera in Buenos Aires, he performed in Tango Argentino. In 1999/2000, he appeared on Broadway at the Gershwin theatre in New York with Tango Argentino. Between January and April 2000, he went to Italy with Tango Argentino. In July and August 2000, he toured Italy, France and Denmark to return to Buenos Aires to end the year 2000 performing in the President Alvear Theater. In June and July 2001, he toured Europe traveling to many cities to appear in summer festivals with Tango x 2 and the show Perfumes of Tango. In August 2001, he toured several cities of Brazil with A Night in Buenos Aires, directed by maestro Carlos Buono. From September to November 2001, he played the season in the Theater Astral with Tango x 2. After that he went to San Pablo and Rio de Janeiro with A Night in Buenos Aires. From the end of December 2001 into March 2002, he played in the Theater Metropolitan in Buenos Aires, with Tango x 2. Later, with the same company he toured Austria, Greece, Spain and France for June and July 2002. From January 2003 to December 2004, he was a member of the orchestra of maestro Ernesto Franco as first bandoneon and was a permanent cast member in Fernando Soler’s Señor Tango. In March, Abril 2003, he toured Brazil with A Night in Buenos Aires. In January 2005 maestro Juan Pugliano and Carlos Buono summoned him to join their orchestra at Piazzolla Tango, where he at present performs daily. June and July 2005 found him touring Japan with the quintet of maestro José Colángelo. As of March 2006, he performs every Wednesday in the Empire Theater in the show Bacanazo in the Air as the musical director and first bandoneon; the maestro Oscar Gonzalez is accompanied by piano, contrabass, violin and guitar.
